Madrasa student shot during clash between BNP factions

A 14-year-old madrasa student, Mohammad Imran, was shot in the middle of a clash between two local BNP factions in Narayanganj's Chashara area. The incident took place in front of Chandni House in Chashara at 11 am on Thursday.

Imran, a resident of Panchabti area of ​​Fatullah police station, is a student of the hefz department of the madrasa. He was shot in the stomach while returning home.

The injured's sister, Isha Moni, said that upon receiving the news, she rescued Imran and first took him to a local hospital. Later, he was brought to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital at 12:30 pm for advanced treatment. He is currently undergoing treatment there.

Inspector in-charge of the police camp of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Md. Faruk confirmed the matter and said that necessary steps have been taken in this regard.
