Major General Alimul Amin new DG of Passport Department

Major General Md Alimul Amin has been appointed as the new Director General of the Department of Immigration and Passports. At the same time, the current Director General of the Department of Immigration and Passports, Major General Md Nurul Anwar, has been returned to the army.

A notification in this regard was issued from the Deputation-1 Branch of the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday, September 21.

The notification signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Nur-E-Alam stated that the officers of the Bangladesh Armed Forces (Army) named alongside are appointed on deputation to the posts mentioned or returned to their respective ministries and divisions concerned with their service.

The notification also mentioned that the order, issued in the public interest, will take effect immediately.
