Major reshuffle in NBR, 36 additional tax commissioners transferred at once

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has transferred 36 additional tax commissioners of the BCS (Tax) cadre at once. At the same time these transferred officials have been posted to various new workplaces.

A notification regarding this was issued from the Tax Administration-1 Branch of the Internal Resources Division on Sunday (August 30). The matter of transfer and posting has been informed in the notification signed by First Secretary Wakil Ahmed.

It has been said in the notification that as part of administrative necessity the concerned officials have been removed from their current workplaces and given new responsibilities. After posting to the new workplaces they have been directed to work according to their responsibilities and scope of work.

If any official has already been performing additional responsibility at the new workplaces that responsibility of his will be considered cancelled. That is, the officials who have newly got the posting will remain in force in the concerned responsibility.

The transferred officials have been asked to properly hand over the responsibility of their current workplaces and join the new workplaces quickly. Direction has been given in the notification for them to transfer the responsibility immediately.

Due to this reshuffle of the officials in the tax administration of NBR change is coming in the distribution of responsibilities of the concerned tax zones and offices. According to the new posting the officials will conduct the activities of the concerned offices after taking the responsibility.
