Maldives President arrives in Dhaka for cabinet swearing-in

Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu has arrived in Dhaka to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Bangladesh’s new cabinet.

The arrival of President Muizzu was confirmed by Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport’s Executive Director, Group Captain S M Ragib Samad. He landed at 9:07 a.m. on Qatar Airways flight QR-640.

Turkey’s Undersecretary Beris Ekinci is also scheduled to participate in the event.

Diplomatic sources said representatives from India, Pakistan, and other South Asian countries, along with domestic and international dignitaries, are attending the ceremony. Around 1,200 guests are expected to be present for the historic cabinet oath-taking.
