Massive crowd gathers at 300 Feet for Tarique Rahman reception

Thousands of BNP supporters have gathered at the 300 Feet Road in Dhaka to welcome Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on his homecoming.

Supporters from across the country arrived overnight, forming long processions and filling the area in front of the stage.

Around 11:00am, supporters carrying national and party flags and chanting slogans were seen moving toward the stage.

Around 1,500 volunteers, along with police, army, and border guards, are deployed to maintain order.

Large posters featuring images of Tarique Rahman, his mother and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, and his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman have been displayed along the roadside.

Nearly 1,000 microphones have been installed around the venue and airport vicinity for sound coverage, while large screens allow attendees to watch the programme live from various points in the area.
