Metro rail services in the capital were suddenly halted on Saturday evening due to a technical glitch, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded at various stations. The disruption began around 5:20pm, with Mirpur-11 station among those affected. Ticket counters were closed due to network issues, preventing passengers from entering or exiting the station. Station officials confirmed that a technical fault in the metro network system caused the suspension. Services will remain halted until the problem is resolved. যান্ত্রিক ত্রুটিতে হঠাৎ বন্ধ হয়ে গেছে রাজধানীর মেট্রোরেল চলাচল। শনিবার (২৬ এপ্রিল) বিকাল ৫টা ২০ মিনিট থেকে এই সমস্যার শুরু হয়। সরেজমিন মিরপুর-১১ নম্বর স্টেশনে গিয়ে দেখা গেছে, নেটওয়ার্ক সমস্যায় টিকিট কাউন্টারও বন্ধ রাখা হয়েছে। যাত্রীরা স্টেশনে আটকে পড়েছেন এবং কেউই বাইরে বের হতে পারছেন না। স্টেশনের কর্মকর্তারা জানান, মেট্রোর নেটওয়ার্ক সিস্টেমে কারিগরি সমস্যা দেখা দিয়েছে। সমস্যার সমাধান না হওয়া পর্যন্ত মেট্রোরেল চলাচল সাময়িকভাবে বন্ধ থাকবে। যাত্রীদের নিরাপত্তা ও ভোগান্তির বিষয়টি মাথায় রেখে দ্রুত সমস্যা সমাধানের চেষ্টা চলছে বলেও জানিয়েছেন কর্তৃপক্ষ।
