Minister Asadul Habib Dulu's health condition improving, says Private Secretary

Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu is showing signs of recovery while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital, his private secretary said on Saturday night (April 12).

Private secretary Selim Ahmed said the minister’s condition is improving and he is gradually recovering under close medical supervision.

He added that several officials, including Disaster Management and Relief State Minister M Iqbal Hossain, have inquired about his health. However, doctors have restricted visitors on medical advice.

The family has requested prayers from the public for his speedy recovery, he said.

According to the private secretary, the minister fell ill due to prolonged workload and lack of adequate rest.

Earlier, Dulu became suddenly ill while travelling to Lalmonirhat on a two-day official visit. He was initially taken to Saidpur Combined Military Hospital before being airlifted by air ambulance to a private hospital in Dhaka, where he is currently receiving treatment.
