A 50-member cabinet is being formed under the leadership of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman. The oath-taking ceremony of the new ministers has already begun. The oath-taking ceremony is being held at the South Plaza of the National Assembly Building at around 4pm on Tuesday (February 17). Earlier, Tarique Rahman, along with BNP members of parliament (MPs) from the 13th National Assembly election, took the oath around 10:45am. After taking the oath, the members of parliament signed the oath-taking papers. Then they sat in a meeting. Local and foreign guests participated in the oath-taking ceremony.

বিএনপির চেয়ারম্যান তারেক রহমানের নেতৃত্বে ৫০ সদস্যের মন্ত্রিসভা গঠন হচ্ছে। ইতোমধ্যে নতুন মন্ত্রীদের শপথ অনুষ্ঠান শুরু হয়েছে। মঙ্গলবার (১৭ ফেব্রুয়ারি) বিকাল ৪টার দিকে জাতীয় সংসদ ভবনের দক্ষিণ প্লাজায় শপথ অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে। এর আগে সকাল পৌনে ১১টার দিকে শপথ নিয়েছেন তারেক রহমানসহ ত্রয়োদশ জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনের বিএনপির সংসদ সদস্যরা (এমপি)। শপথ নেয়ার পর সংসদ সদস্যরা শপথপত্রে সই করেন। এরপর বৈঠকে বসেন তারা। শপথ অনুষ্ঠানে দেশি ও বিদেশি অতিথিরা অংশ নেন।
