Mirza Abbas begins official work at parliament office

Mirza Abbas, a member of BNP's standing committee, MP and adviser to the Prime Minister, has formally begun his official duties at his office in the national parliament.

He started his first day's activities on Monday morning (November 3) by going to his designated office at the Parliament Building.

According to sources, officials at his office welcomed Mirza Abbas when he arrived at the Parliament Building in the morning. He then entered his designated office, reviewed various documents and began his official work. He sought cooperation from all concerned in fulfilling his new responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Mirza Abbas also attended the session of the 13th parliament that began at 3pm. The session was the fourth day of proceedings of the third session of the 13th parliament.

During the question-answer session of the parliament, Suriya Jerin, a BNP MP from a reserved women's seat, mentioned Mirza Abbas's presence in the house. Welcoming him to the parliament, she conveyed congratulations and greetings from BNP.

Mirza Abbas is simultaneously serving as a member of BNP's national standing committee, a member of parliament and an adviser to the Prime Minister. With the start of official work at his parliamentary office, his formal tenure in the new role has also begun.
