Mirza Abbas moved from Singapore to Malaysia for treatment
BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas has been transferred from Singapore General Hospital to Malaysia for advanced medical treatment. BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the information on Wednesday night, April 15.
He said Mirza Abbas's physical condition has improved and he has been taken to Malaysia to continue treatment. He also requested the people of the country to pray for his speedy recovery.
Earlier, it was reported that he had been taken to Malaysia for treatment on March 13. Later, on March 15, he was transferred from Evercare Hospital to Singapore General Hospital.
On March 11, Mirza Abbas suddenly fell ill and lost consciousness while drinking water during Iftar. As his condition deteriorated, he was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital and later taken to Singapore for advanced treatment.
It is to be noted that Mirza Abbas won the national parliamentary election from the Dhaka-8 constituency.
