Mirza Abbas now in much better health: State Minister

Former minister and Dhaka-8 lawmaker Mirza Abbas is now in significantly improved health condition compared to earlier, said Railways Ministry and Road Transport and Highways Division State Minister Habibur Rashid.

In a post on his official Facebook page on Sunday (June 21), the state minister said Mirza Abbas is gradually recovering, thanks to prayers and good wishes from people across the country.

The post also noted that Mirza Abbas has expressed gratitude to those who prayed for his recovery and wellbeing.

Habibur Rashid further said there is optimism that the senior political leader will make a full recovery soon and return to his public service and political activities.

It is also expected that after completing medical care and rest, Mirza Abbas will resume his normal political engagements and rejoin public service in the near future, the post added.
