Mirza Fakhrul visits Khaleda Zia at midnight

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has paid a sudden visit to party Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at the capital's Evercare Hospital, at midnight.

BNP Chairperson's personal physician and party standing committee member Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain was with him at the time. However, they did not give any information about Khaleda Zia's health condition to the journalists present.

Earlier, security at Evercare Hospital was tightened. Barricades were put up around the main gate and surroundings.

Khaleda Zia's treatment is being carried out under the supervision of local and foreign doctors. Meanwhile, the interim government declared her a very very important person.
