A group has created mob culture through provocation, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General and Prime Minister's Political Adviser Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said, alleging that they have created a vast web of conspiracy against the government.

He was speaking at a food distribution programme for the poor and destitute organised by Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Rickshaw Van Auto Chalak Dal in front of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan on Monday, June 1.

Rizvi said under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, no one in this country will remain unemployed. Jobs will be created in various sectors through various initiatives. Even hawkers who are evicted will be rehabilitated, because the government has a responsibility to look after their children and families.

Referring to the Awami League's 1972-1975 rule, Rizvi described a Basanti who had to cover herself with fishing nets for lack of sarees, and questioned whether the opposition wants to take the country back to such a state of poverty and despair.

Referring to Jamaat-e-Islami, he warned that the consequence of their past alliance with the Awami League was the execution of their leaders, and that if fascism returns, no one will be spared.

Rizvi said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has not bowed to any dominant power regarding the Padma Barrage project, and urged everyone to be vigilant while there is still time.
