Interim government's Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md. Nahid Islam has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of former minister and BNP Vice Chairman Abdullah Al Noman. In a condolence message on Tuesday (February 25), he prayed for the eternal peace of the former minister and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family. The information advisor said that Abdullah Al Noman was a selfless politician. He was known as a leader with personality in the political arena. His death is an irreparable loss for the country. The media wing of the BNP Chairperson informed the media about the death of Abdullah Al Noman. He was 80 years old at the time of his death.

সাবেক মন্ত্রী ও বাংলাদেশ জাতীয়তাবাদী দল (বিএনপি)’র ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান আবদুল্লাহ আল নোমানের মৃত্যুতে গভীর শোক ও দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেছেন অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার উপদেষ্টা মো. নাহিদ ইসলাম। মঙ্গলবার (২৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি) এক শোকবার্তায় তিনি সাবেক এ মন্ত্রীর বিদেহী আত্মার মাগফেরাত কামনা ও শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারের প্রতি গভীর সমবেদনা জানান। তথ্য উপদেষ্টা বলেন, ‘আবদুল্লাহ আল নোমান ছিলেন একজন ত্যাগী রাজনীতিবিদ। রাজনৈতিক অঙ্গনে তিনি ব্যক্তিত্বসম্পন্ন একজন নেতা হিসাবে পরিচিত ছিলেন। তার মৃত্যু দেশের জন্য অপূরণীয় ক্ষতি’। বিএনপি চেয়ারপার্সনের মিডিয়া উইংয়ের পক্ষ থেকে গণমাধ্যমে আবদুল্লাহ আল নোমানের মৃত্যুর খবর জানানো হয়। মৃত্যুকালে তার বয়স হয়েছিল ৮০ বছর।
