National University releases admission test results

The results of the admission test for the first-year honours programme for the 2025-26 academic session at the National University have been published. The results were announced around 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 3.

Prospective students will be able to access their results through the university's website and mobile phone SMS.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr A S M Amanullah said the results have been published just seven days after the examination. The admission process from the first merit list will begin soon.

To check results via SMS, applicants must type NU AT [Roll No] and send it to 16222. Results can also be viewed by logging into the admission website.

Students who secure a place on the merit list must complete the final admission form on the website, pay a registration fee of Tk 1,130, and submit the required documents to their chosen college.

The admission test was held on April 25 at 138 centres across the country, with 453,148 students applying. There are 452,875 seats available across 880 colleges under 31 departments of the National University, almost matching the number of applicants.

Previously, admissions were based on SSC and HSC results, but the admission test system was introduced last year.
