Nationwide ambulance strike from Wednesday over 5-point demand
The Bangladesh Ambulance Owners' Welfare Association has called for a nationwide indefinite ambulance strike from Wednesday (July 29) with five demands.
Bangladesh Ambulance Owners' Welfare Association General Secretary Badal Madbar confirmed the matter on Tuesday (July 28) afternoon.
He said an indefinite strike has been called from 6am tomorrow across the country with five demands.
The demands are:
Implementation of commercial policies related to ambulances.
Parking facilities for ambulances at every government hospital.
Toll-free facilities for ambulances as per High Court verdict.
Toll-free facilities for freezer vans carrying bodies and ambulances carrying bodies.
Ensuring 24-hour fuel supply for ambulances.
