NBR grants tax rebate for donations to 9 organizations
The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has granted tax rebates until 2030 for donations made to nine organizations involved in welfare and social activities. Donations to these organizations will receive tax benefits from NBR.
On Tuesday (May 27), NBR issued a notification regarding this matter.
The organizations that have been given tax exemption status are: Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, Mastul Foundation, SOS Children’s Village International in Bangladesh, Rogi Kallyan Samiti, Bangladesh National Federation of the Deaf, Gonoshasthaya Kendra, Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Palliative Care Society of Bangladesh, and Agami Education Foundation.
NBR believes that giving tax exemptions to these organizations will encourage them to fulfill their social responsibilities and support the sustainable financing of welfare organizations.
