NCP leader Nasiruddin Patwary's convoy attacked in Benapole

An attack on the convoy of National Citizen Party (NCP) leader Nasiruddin Patwary was carried out in the Benapole Bazar area of ​​Jashore. The party said the attack took place around 1:15pm on Wednesday (June 3).

The NCP claims that four party leaders and activists were injured in the attack. Among the injured are Chhatra Shakti leader Khan Miftahul Mostafiz Amit, Taskin Ahmed Tajim and Yuba Shakti leader Rupam Ahsan Arnab. The identity of another injured person was not immediately known.

However, the party said that NCP's Nasiruddin Patwary, Joint Member Secretary Faridul Haque and other party leaders who were in the convoy at the time of the attack are safe.

Regarding the nature of the attack, the NCP has described it as a 'secret attack'. However, no information was immediately available about who carried out the attack and the reason behind it.

No official statement has been received from law enforcement agencies regarding the incident so far.
