The National Citizens Party (NCP) has announced a press conference to discuss the country’s recent political developments. Yasir Arafat, media secretary of the party’s central election committee, confirmed the event in a late night statement on Wednesday evening (February 18). The press conference is scheduled for 2:00pm on Thursday (February 19) at NCP’s temporary central office in the capital's Banglamotor. Party convener Nahid Islam and spokesperson Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan are expected to attend the press conference.

জাতীয় নাগরিক পার্টি (এনসিপি) দেশের সাম্প্রতিক রাজনৈতিক পরিস্থিতি নিয়ে সংবাদ সম্মেলন ডেকেছে। দলটির কেন্দ্রীয় নির্বাচন পরিচালনা কমিটির মিডিয়া সেক্রেটারি ইয়াসির আরাফাত বুধবার (১৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি) রাতে এক বার্তায় এ তথ্য জানান। তিনি জানান, বৃহস্পতিবার (১৯ ফেব্রুয়ারি) দুপুর ২টায় রাজধানীর বাংলামোটরের দলটির অস্থায়ী কেন্দ্রীয় কার্যালয়ে সংবাদ সম্মেলনটি অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। সংবাদ সম্মেলনে দলের আহ্বায়ক নাহিদ ইসলাম এবং মুখপাত্র আসিফ মাহমুদ সজীব ভুঁইয়া উপস্থিত থাকবেন।
