New date for 47th BCS application announced

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced the new date for 47th BCS application.

According to the new time, the online application for 47th BCS will start at 10am on December 29. It will continue till 11:59pm on January 31, said PSC sources on Thursday (December 12).

Earlier on Monday (December 9), a PSC notification said that the online application for the 47th BCS Exam-2024, scheduled to start at 10am on December 10 and end at 11:59pm on December 31, has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons.

The time and date of the start and end of the online application will be announced soon with the approval of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission.

The previously published 47th BCS notification said that the total number of vacant cadre posts in the 47th BCS is 3,487 and the number of non-cadre posts is 201. A total of 3,688 people will be recruited from this BCS. Some new posts have been added to this BCS. To apply for this BCS, the candidate's age must be between 21 and 32 years in all cases on November 1, 2024.
