New Info Minister Andaleeve Rahman Partho begins first day at Secretariat

New Information and Broadcasting Minister Andaleeve Rahman Partho began his first official working day at the Secretariat on Sunday (August 23), meeting ministry officials and staff after assuming office.

Partho entered the Secretariat around 8:20am and later arrived at the conference room of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry in Building No. 6. Ministry officials and employees welcomed him with flowers.

Around 9:30am, the minister held an introductory meeting with officials and discussed the ministry's activities and responsibilities.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister's Information Adviser Dr Zahed Ur Rahman, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Choudhury, ministry secretary Mahbuba Farzana and senior officials and employees.

The meeting marked Partho's first official engagement at the Secretariat since taking charge of the ministry, with discussions taking place in a cordial atmosphere.
