New instructions on welcoming, seeing off passengers at Shahjalal Airport

New instructions have been issued for those arriving to receive and see off passengers at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.

The airport authorities have said that these instructions will come into effect from next Sunday (July 27).

According to the new instructions, a maximum of two people will be allowed to enter the departure driveway and arrival canopy area with passengers.

The aim of this step is to maintain normal passenger movement, control traffic congestion in the airport area and above all ensure safety.

The instructions say that those who have come to see off and welcome the honored passengers are requested to move in an orderly manner. Everyone's cooperation is desirable.

The airport authorities have called on all concerned to comply with the instructions.
