Newly elected MPs to be sworn in by February 17: Press Secretary

Shafiqul Alam, press secretary to the Chief Adviser, has confirmed that the swearing-in of newly elected members of parliament will be completed by February 17.

He made the announcement during a briefing at the Foreign Service Academy auditorium on Saturday (February 14).

He said the oath-taking ceremony for the winners will be organised promptly. “It could take place on February 16 or 17, and there is unlikely to be any further delay,” he added.
