All classes and exams at Dhaka University (DU) will be suspeded on Wednesday (September 10). Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Director (Acting) of the Public Relations Department of Dhaka University, announced this in a statement on Tuesday. Voting for the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) elections took place from Tuesday morning to afternoon. The counting of votes are now underway. The results are likely to be announced tonight. A kind of tense situation is prevailing on the university campus surrounding the elections.

আগামীকাল বুধবার (১০ সেপ্টেম্বর) ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (ঢাবি) সব ক্লাস ও পরীক্ষা বন্ধ থাকবে। ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের জনসংযোগ দপ্তরের পরিচালক (ভারপ্রাপ্ত) মোহাম্মদ রফিকুল ইসলাম আজ মঙ্গলবার এক বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ কথা জানিয়েছেন। মঙ্গলবার সকাল থেকে বিকেল পর্যন্ত ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কেন্দ্রীয় ছাত্র সংসদ-ডাকসু নির্বাচনের ভোটগ্রহণ হয়েছে। এখন ভোট গণনা চলছে। রাতেই ফলাফল ঘোষণা হতে পারে।নির্বাচনকে কেন্দ্র করে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ক্যাম্পাসে এক ধরনের চাপা উত্তেজনা বিরাজ করছে।
