The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations of 2024 have been published. The average pass rate in total 11 education boards including nine general education boards, madrasah board and technical board stands at 77.78 percent. The results were released simultaneously on Tuesday (October 15) morning by the educational institutions on their respective websites. This year, 1,45,911 students have achieved GPA-5 which in 2023 was 92,365. Compared to last year, the number of students who obtained GPA-5 increased by 53,546.

২০২৪ সালের এইচএসসি ও সমমান পরীক্ষায় জিপিএ-৫ পেয়েছে এক লাখ ৪৫ হাজার ৯১১ জন শিক্ষার্থী। যেখানে ২০২৩ সালে এই সংখ্যা ছিল ৯২ হাজার ৩৬৫ জন। ফলে গত বছরের তুলনায় এই বছর জিপিএ-৫ প্রাপ্ত শিক্ষার্থীর সংখ্যা বেড়েছে ৫৩ হাজার ৫৪৬ জন। মঙ্গলবার (১৫ অক্টোবর) বেলা ১১টার কিছু আগে শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট ওয়েবসাইটে একযোগে এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার ফলাফল প্রকাশ করা হয়। প্রকাশিত ফলাফল অনুযায়ী, ৯টি সাধারণ শিক্ষা বোর্ড, মাদ্রাসা বোর্ড এবং কারিগরি বোর্ডসহ মোট ১১টি শিক্ষা বোর্ডে গড় পাসের হার দাঁড়িয়েছে ৭৭.৭৮ শতাংশ।
