Nurul Islam Moni appointed as Chief Whip of Parliament

BNP Central Committee Vice Chairman Md. Nurul Islam Moni has been appointed as the Chief Whip of the 13th National Parliament. He is the elected Member of Parliament from Barguna-2 constituency.

This information was given in a notification signed by Secretary Kaniz Mowla from the Human Resources Branch of the Bangladesh National Parliament Secretariat by the President's order on Monday (March 2).

It is reported that Nurul Islam Moni has been elected as a Member of Parliament three times before. He was elected as an independent candidate in the fourth and fifth National Parliament elections and as a BNP nominee in the eighth National Parliament elections.
