A moving bus of Sakura Paribahan, travelling from Dhaka to Barishal, suddenly caught fire, leaving one person dead. The incident occurred on a passenger bus of Sakura Paribahan around 4:30 pm on Sunday, April 12. Witnesses said that as soon as the bus caught fire, passengers panicked. Many passengers tried to jump off to save their lives before the vehicle came to a complete stop. During this commotion, a passenger fell under the bus wheels while attempting to jump off and died at the scene.

ঢাকা থেকে বরিশালগামী সাকুরা পরিবহনের একটি চলন্ত বাসে হঠাৎ আগুন লেগেছে। এ ঘটনায় একজন মারা গেছেন। রোববার (১২ এপ্রিল) বিকেল সাড়ে ৪টার দিকে এ&nbsp; অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটে। প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীরা জানান, বাসটিতে আগুন লাগার সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই যাত্রীরা আতঙ্কিত হয়ে পড়েন। গাড়ি পুরোপুরি থামার আগেই অনেক যাত্রী জীবন বাঁচাতে লাফিয়ে নামার চেষ্টা করেন। এ সময় একজন যাত্রী লাফ দিতে গিয়ে বাসের চাকার নিচে পড়ে যান। এত তিনি ঘটনাস্থলেই মারা যান।
