Joint forces detained Khan Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman, the Managing Director (MD) of Online Group, from the Mohammadpur area of the capital. He was later handed over to Cantonment Police Station. RAB-2's Staff Officer (Media) Khan Asif Apu confirmed the arrest around 9:30 pm on Thursday. He said, "At around 7:30 pm, a joint operation was conducted at a house on Babar Road in Mohammadpur, where he was detained. I have heard that there are several cases against him. After the arrest, he was handed over to Dhaka's Cantonment Police Station." Md. Alim, the Officer-in-Charge of Cantonment Police Station, told Views Bangladesh, "Khan Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman has been detained."

রাজধানীর মোহাম্মদপুর এলাকা থেকে অনলাইন গ্রুপের ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক (এমডি) খান মোহাম্মদ আক্তারুজ্জামানকে আটক করেছে যৌথ বাহিনী। পরে তাকে ক্যান্টনমেন্ট থানায় হস্তান্তর করা হয়েছে। বৃহস্পতিবার (১৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি) রাত সাড়ে ৯টার দিকে র‌্যাব-২ এর স্টাফ অফিসার (মিডিয়া) খান আসিফ অপু আটকের বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন। তিনি বলেন, সন্ধ্যা সাড়ে ৭টার দিকে মোহাম্মদপুর থানার বাবর রোডের একটি বাসায় যৌথ অভিযান চালিয়ে তাকে আটক করা হয়। তার নামে কয়েকটি মামলা রয়েছে বলে শুনেছি। আটকের পর তাকে ঢাকার ক্যান্টনমেন্ট থানায় হস্তান্তর করা হয়েছে। ক্যান্টনমেন্ট থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা মো. আলীম ভিউজ বাংলাদেশকে বলেন, খান মোহাম্মদ আক্তারুজ্জামানকে আটক করা হয়েছে।
