Operation to continue until ‘devil's’ are finished : Home Adviser
The 'Devil' operation will continue until it is finished, said the Home Affairs Adviser, Lieutenant General (Ret.) Md.
He made this statement in response to journalists' questions after the inauguration of the new Soil Building at the Soil Resources Institute in Farmgate on Sunday (February 9)
The Home Affairs Adviser stated that the 'Devil Hunt' operation would target those who destabilize the country. Many of those who attacked students and the public in Gazipur have already been brought under the law, and the rest will be apprehended soon.
Regarding the arrest of five senior police officers, the adviser said that the crimes of those arrested are known to the people of the country.
Earlier, on Friday (February 7) night, a terrorist attack on students and the public took place in Gazipur. Following this incident, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday to coordinate the law enforcement agencies. During the meeting, it was decided to conduct 'Operation Devil Hunt' under the coordination of the joint forces in order to maintain law and order in the affected areas and bring the terrorists under the law. This operation began on Saturday across Gazipur and the rest of the country.
