Opposition walks out of parliament again
The opposition has walked out of parliament again, accusing the ruling party of breaching trust. The opposition, led by Leader of the Opposition Dr Shafiqur Rahman, walked out around 7:35 pm on Friday, April 10.
Earlier, Shafiqur Rahman accused the ruling party of violating trust following the passage of an amended version of the July Memorial Museum Bill, which deviated from an understanding reached in a special committee meeting.
This is the fourth walkout by the opposition in the current session. The opposition had walked out on the previous day as well, accusing the government of passing an 'anti-people' bill.
