Opposition's demands to be decided through parliament discussion: Home Minister

Decisions regarding various demands of the opposition party, including the formation of a Constitution Reform Council, will be taken after discussions in parliament, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed has said.

He made this remark while speaking to journalists after the first meeting of the 13th National Parliament's Business Advisory Committee on Saturday afternoon, March 14.

The home minister said the parliament session will be held only tomorrow, Sunday (March 15) before Eid. After the Eid break, the session will resume from March 29 and continue throughout April.

He further informed that a special committee has been formed to review the 133 ordinances issued. Detailed discussions on these matters will be held in that committee.

Commerce Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said the Business Advisory Committee meeting decided that the first session of the 13th National Parliament will continue until April 30.
