Osman Hadi's brother appointed assistant high commission official in UK

Omar bin Hadi, elder brother of Osman Hadi, has been appointed as second secretary at the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Birmingham, the United Kingdom, on a contractual basis by the interim government.

The appointment was announced in a notification issued by the Contract and Foreign Appointment Wing of the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday.

According to the notification, the appointment has been made for a period of three years from the date of joining, on condition that he relinquishes any other profession, business, or employment with government, semi-government, or private organisations.

Other terms and conditions of the appointment will be determined through a contract, the notification said.

It added that the order was issued in the public interest.
