Osman Hadi's janaza not being held in Singapore
The first namaz e janaza of Inqilab Mancha convener Sharif Osman Hadi, who was undergoing treatment at the Singapore General Hospital, will not be held in Singapore.
The Bangladesh High Commission in Singapore announced this information on Friday (December 19) morning.
The High Commission said, Respected expatriate brothers, Assalamu Alaikum. Osman Hadi passed away last night at the Singapore General Hospital. Due to lack of clearance from the appropriate authorities, his janaza will not be held in Singapore.
In a post on Facebook, the High Commission expressed its regret for this. The High Commission also requested Singapore expatriates to respect Singapore's laws.
Hadi died at 9:45 pm Bangladesh time on Thursday (December 18). At that time, Inqilab Mancha announced that Hadi's first janaza will be held in Singapore.
