Outgoing Navy chief pays courtesy call on President

Outgoing Navy Chief Admiral M Nazmul Hasan paid a courtesy call on President and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Md Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban on Tuesday afternoon .

During the meeting, Admiral Hasan thanked the President for his support during his tenure and briefed him on the overall development activities of the Bangladesh Navy .

The President thanked the outgoing Navy chief for his successful and efficient service and praised his contribution to the modernisation and capability enhancement of the Bangladesh Navy . He also expressed hope that the ongoing development and modernisation of the Bangladesh Navy would continue in the future .

Secretaries from the President's Office were present at the meeting.

Admiral M Nazmul Hasan is scheduled to hand over charge to the new Navy chief on July 23.
