Overseas centres see 95% pass rate in HSC, equivalent exams

A total of 282 candidates participated from eight institutes took the HSC examination this year. Among them, 269 people have passed. The pass rate is 95.39 percent. Three institutions achieved 100% pass rate.

It is to be noted that, HSC and equivalent results were published on Tuesday (October 15). According to the results, the average pass rate in HSC and equivalent exams this year is 77.78 percent. Last year the average pass percentage from 11 boards was 78.64 percent. As such, the pass rate has also decreased slightly. However, the number of students who achieved got GPA-5 has increased this time.

The published results show that this year, 100% of the candidates have passed in 1,388 educational institutions of the country. The number of educational institutions with 100% pass rate has increased more than last year. In 2023, 953 educational institutions achieved 100% pass rate. Accordingly, the number of colleges with 100% pass rates has increased to 435.
