Pakistan PM sends letter praying for Khaleda Zia’s quick recovery
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sent a letter wishing a speedy recovery to BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
The letter, published Saturday night (November 29) on BNP’s verified Facebook page, stated that news of Khaleda Zia’s recent illness deeply concerned him. On behalf of the people and government of Pakistan, as well as personally, he expressed hopes for her swift and full recovery.
Sharif noted that Khaleda Zia’s contributions to Bangladesh’s development are internationally recognised. He also praised her role in strengthening the close and brotherly relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Wishing her good health and longevity, the Pakistan PM prayed that she continues to remain a source of strength and guidance for her party and the people of Bangladesh.
