Parliament session to be held in afternoon
The ongoing session of the National Parliament is starting again from this afternoon. The meeting will be held at 3pm in the session room of the Parliament House.
The session, which began on March 12, was postponed to March 15 due to various holidays including Eid-ul-Fitr. The meeting was presided over by Speaker Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed.
Chief Whip of the National Parliament Md. Nurul Islam said that the discussion on the motion of thanks brought on the President's address will dominate the agenda of the third day of the first session of the 13th National Parliament. Members of the government and opposition parties will participate in it.
In addition, the session will include a question-and-answer session scheduled for ministers, raising notices on nationally important issues and discussions on those notices.
A total of 50 hours of discussion have been scheduled on the President's address. According to the decision of the Executive Advisory Committee, this session will continue until April 30.
