Parliament to sit twice daily from Tuesday
The National Parliament will sit in two sessions daily from Tuesday, April 7, to fulfil the constitutional obligation of converting 133 ordinances into laws.
The decision was announced during the session of the 13th National Parliament on Monday, April 6.
Chief Whip Nurul Islam said the first session will begin at 10:30 am, and the second session will begin at 3:30 pm. Additionally, the 'Private Members' Day' scheduled for Thursday has been cancelled to pass government bills. Preparations have also been made to continue sessions on Friday if necessary.
