Parliament's third session to begin August 27

President Major (retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed has summoned the third session of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad for August 27. The session will commence at 3pm at the Parliament House in the capital.

The information was provided in a press release signed by Monir Hossain, Director of the Parliament Secretariat's Public Relations Branch-1, on Tuesday, August 11.

The release stated that the third session of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad has been summoned using the powers vested in the President under Article 72(1) of the Constitution.

The President's proclamation said the session will be held at 3pm on August 27 at the Parliament House in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka.

This will be the third session of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad in 2026. Necessary preparations are underway at the Parliament Secretariat in connection with the session, according to sources.
