Everyone is casting their votes without any hindrance in the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) elections, said Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Ramna Division Deputy Commissioner Masud Alam. He said: "Voting is underway peacefully, everyone is voting without any hindrance. The law and order situation is good, no untoward situation has arisen." He said this in response to various questions from journalists on Tuesday (September 9) morning. At that time, DC Masud Alam said: "If anyone from outside tries to create any kind of chaos, legal action will be taken against them." He said that the law and order forces are on alert.

ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কেন্দ্রীয় ছাত্র সংসদ (ডাকসু) নির্বাচনে সবাই নির্বিঘ্নে ভোট দিচ্ছে বলে জানিয়েছেন ঢাকা মহানগর পুলিশের (ডিএমপি) রমনা বিভাগের উপ-পুলিশ কমিশনারের (ডিসি) মাসুদ আলম। তিনি বলেন, ‘শান্তিপূর্ণভাবে ভোট গ্রহণ চলছে, সবাই নির্বিঘ্নে ভোট দিচ্ছে। আইনশৃঙ্খলা পরিস্থিতি ভালো আছে, কোনো অপ্রীতিকর পরিস্থিতি তৈরি হয়নি।’ মঙ্গলবার (৯ সেপ্টেম্বর) সকালে সাংবাদিকদের বিভিন্ন প্রশ্নের জবাবে তিনি এসব কথা বলেন। এ সময় ডিসি মাসুদ আলম বলেন, ‘বহিরাগত কেউ কোনো রকম বিশৃঙ্খলা সৃষ্টি করতে চাইলে তার বিরুদ্ধে আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা নেয়া হবে।’ আইনশৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী বাহিনী সতর্ক অবস্থানে আছে বলে জানান তিনি।
