People’s collective support is our source of strength: Tarique Rahman

BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman has said that the collective support of the people is the source of strength and inspiration for their family. He said this in a post on his verified Facebook account on Tuesday morning, December 2.

Tarique Rahman said, “We express our heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Zia family and the BNP for the support and wishes coming from different parts of the world for the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia.”

He said, “The concern of leaders, diplomats and friends from various countries, along with the boundless love and prayers of the people of Bangladesh, deeply touches our emotions and sentiments.”

The BNP acting chairman said, “The collective support of the people is our family’s source of strength and inspiration. We are continuously praying for the quick recovery of our compassionate leader. In this difficult time, we express profound gratitude to everyone for unity, empathy and solidarity.”
