PM goes to meeting by climbing six-floor stairs without using lift

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has joined a meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture by climbing the stairs without using the lift. The meeting started at the conference room of the Ministry of Agriculture at the Secretariat on Sunday (September 13) afternoon.

Deputy Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Jahidul Islam Roni has informed this information.

Discussions are being held at the meeting on the overall situation of the agriculture sector, ongoing activities of the ministry, future plans and various related issues.

While going to the sixth floor of the Secretariat to join the meeting the Prime Minister climbed the stairs on foot without using the lift. At that time the officials and security personnel accompanying him also climbed up by the stairs.

Relevant sources inform that detailed discussions are being held at the meeting on the current situation of the country’s agriculture sector. Along with this various issues related to the interests of farmers and various ongoing activities of the Ministry of Agriculture are being presented before the Prime Minister.
