PM launches tree plantation drive at Dhaka Medical College Hospital

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Saturday (July 11) inaugurated a tree plantation programme at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) as part of the institution's 80th anniversary celebrations and 81st founding anniversary.

The prime minister arrived on the campus at around 10:15am, where he was accompanied by his wife, Dr Zubaida Rahman.

During the visit, he visited student exhibition stalls before joining the anniversary programme.

As part of the event, the prime minister is also scheduled to lay the foundation stones for two women's dormitories under the Directorate General of Health Services' 20-Hostel Project and address a discussion session.

The visit has created a festive atmosphere across the DMCH campus, with students, faculty members and officials participating in the celebrations.
