PM orders establishment of language training centers to increase job opportunities abroad

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has ordered the establishment of language training centers in the country to develop skilled manpower for employment abroad.

He gave this instructions at a meeting of the Committee on Increasing Foreign Employment and Expatriate Welfare at the Secretariat on Thursday (March 5).

Additional Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Atiqur Rahman said that the ministry concerned has been instructed to take immediate and effective steps to make unemployed youth suitable for employment abroad. An urge has been given to establish language training centers in collaboration with local and foreign teachers so that interested people can learn the languages ​​of different countries and get work opportunities abroad.

The meeting, chaired by the Prime Minister, discussed ways to quickly expand employment opportunities abroad and various related aspects.

In addition, the Prime Minister also ordered the introduction of low-interest bank loans and the simplification of the loan process so that no one has to sell auxiliary assets to get work opportunities abroad.

The meeting was attended by Minister for Labor, Employment and Expatriates' Welfare Ariful Haque Chowdhury, State Minister Nurul Haque Noor, Adviser to the Prime Minister Mahdi Amin, Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar and senior officials of the ministries concerned.
