Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has ordered the launch of a separate bus service for women in the capital. Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman confirmed this information on Monday, March 2. He said Road Transport and Bridges Minister Sheikh Rabiul Islam met with the prime minister and briefed him on the overall situation of the road transport sector. During the meeting, the prime minister issued necessary directives and instructed the minister to launch a women's bus service in the capital. Additionally, the prime minister instructed the Housing and Public Works Minister to complete renovation and development work at Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman's mausoleum in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar before Eid-ul-Fitr.

রাজধানীতে নারীদের জন্য পৃথক বাস সার্ভিস চালুর নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী তারেক রহমান। সোমবার (২ মার্চ) প্রধানমন্ত্রীর অতিরিক্ত প্রেস সচিব আতিকুর রহমান রুমন এ তথ্য জানান। তিনি বলেন, সড়ক পরিবহন ও সেতুমন্ত্রী শেখ রবিউল ইসলাম প্রধানমন্ত্রীর সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করে সড়ক পরিবহন খাতের সার্বিক পরিস্থিতি তুলে ধরেন। এ সময় প্রধানমন্ত্রী প্রয়োজনীয় দিকনির্দেশনা দেন এবং রাজধানীতে মহিলা বাস সার্ভিস চালু করতে মন্ত্রীকে নির্দেশ দেন। এছাড়া শেরে বাংলা নগরে শহিদ প্রেসিডেন্ট জিয়াউর রহমানের সমাধিস্থলের সংস্কার ও উন্নয়নকাজ রমজানের ঈদের আগেই শেষ করার জন্য গৃহায়ন ও গণপূর্ত মন্ত্রীকেও নির্দেশনা দিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী।
