PM Tarique Rahman holds first office at Armed Forces Division

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman visited the Armed Forces Division at Dhaka Cantonment and hold office for the first time there on Monday morning (February 23).

He arrived at his office at 9:00am, where the chiefs of the three services welcomed him.

During the visit, the Prime Minister exchanged greetings with the military leadership and later conducted a rank badge ceremony, promoting two senior officers: Lieutenant General Mir Mushfiqur Rahman and Major General Kaiser Rashid Chowdhury.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister’s Defense Adviser retired Brigadier General Dr. A K M Shamsul Islam, Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman, Navy Chief Admiral M Nazmul Hasan, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan, Defense Secretary Md. Ashraf Uddin, and senior officials from the Prime Minister’s Office including Press Secretary Saleh Shibli, Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman, and Private Secretary-2 Md. Mehedul Islam.
