PM Tarique Rahman meets four newly appointed BNP Standing Committee members

Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman met four newly appointed members of the party’s Standing Committee at his office in the Secretariat on Tuesday evenin (August 18).

The four leaders are Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Aman Ullah Aman, Dr Farhad Halim Donar and Ismail Zabih Ullah.

The meeting was also attended by BNP Standing Committee member and Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed, according to the Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary Zahidul Islam Rony.

Earlier in the day, the four newly appointed leaders paid tribute by placing wreaths at the graves of former president Ziaur Rahman and former prime minister Khaleda Zia in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.

The four were appointed to the BNP Standing Committee on August 15.
