LDP Chairman Col. (retd) Oli Ahmed has advised Prime Minister Tarique Rahman not to spend the night outside Dhaka. At the same time, he claimed that the prime minister is 'surrounded by enemies' and that foreign spies are present in important positions in the government and the ruling party.

He made these remarks at a seminar organized by 11 parties at the Diploma Engineers Institution auditorium in the capital on Wednesday (July 8) afternoon.

Addressing Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, Oli Ahmed said that it is the Prime Minister's responsibility to identify and expel the foreign spies who are in Bangladesh. Both the Prime Minister and the country are suffering because of them.

He said that as the son of Begum Khaleda Zia, the Prime Minister needs to take initiatives to reform the state. He also commented that it is not possible to run the country with enemies all around.

Oli Ahmed said, "We are your open enemies. But those who are by your side are your real enemies."

He claimed that foreign spies are in important positions in the government and the party and they can do great harm to the Prime Minister at any time. He also suggested that such people be expelled from the party.

Regarding the current situation in the country, he said that the law and order situation is not good, extortion is happening in different places, the economic situation is also not satisfactory and new investments are not coming. In this situation, the Prime Minister is not in a good position.

Oli Ahmed also said that the 11 parties are not enemies of the government, but are giving these suggestions publicly as friends. The Prime Minister will perform his duties in such a way that he is remembered as a leader in history.
