PM Tarique Rahman to attend Jamaat-e-Islami Iftar today

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will attend an iftar party hosted by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami today (February 28).

The event will be held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital in the afternoon, the BNP Media Cell confirmed.

According to the schedule, the Prime Minister will join an exchange meeting with officials and heads of departments under his office at the Tejgaon PMO at 10:00am ahead of the iftar party.

On February 25, Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar and Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim met the Prime Minister at the Secretariat and formally handed over the invitation letter.

At the time, he agreed to attend the programme.
