PM to visit Sylhet on Saturday

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will visit Sylhet on Saturday (May 2). This is his first visit to Sylhet after assuming office as Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister's Office has released the full schedule of the visit on Thursday. According to the schedule, after arriving at Sylhet Osmani International Airport at 10am on Saturday, he will pay homage to the shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) at 10:30am.

After that, he will join the inauguration and welcome rally of the Sylhet City Corporation's waterlogging relief project in the Chandnighat area of ​​the city at 11am. He will inaugurate the excavation work of the Basia Canal in Kandigaon, Sadar Upazila at 12noon.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the 'Natun Kuri Sports-2026' competition at the Sylhet District Stadium at 3pm. He will participate in a party meeting at the Sylhet District Shilpakala Academy at 5pm. He will leave Sylhet for Dhaka by plane at 7pm.
